amdk8.sys bsod after formatting hard drive

This is pissing me off so much you can't even imagine. I've been getting blue screens for months, trying new solutions every day and nothing has worked, and I finally just completely formatted my hard drive (twice). My ram is fine, I do not overclock at all, and I have tried updating every one of my drivers. I switched from 64 bit to 32 bit because some people were having problems with the 9800GTX+ on 64 bit. When I play game I get Blue screens within 10 minutes EVERY TIME. I HAVE been monitoring my cpu temperature. I have turned off cool and quiet and I have tried updating my amd drivers (athlon X2 6000+) but the newest one from the site does'nt work on windows 7. I could launch debugger once to know that amdk8.sys caused one of my bluescreens, but for some reason I cannot get it to install or run again. This install of windows 7 is around 4 hours old, he hardware is less than two years old, My graphics card is 2 months old. I've been throwing things across the out of pure frustration, this is my 3rd post here. PLEASE. someone help me. Even if i can fix this one I'm sure I will get more cause by something else.

The BSOD specialists will get to you as soon as possible.

Don't feel ignored. It has been a busy day for them.

I'm not refering to anything.

There are only two BSOD crew logged on that I know of.

I was attempting to let you know that it may be a bit until they get to you.
That you were not being ignored.

Everything is volunteer on this site.

I'm trying to be friendly in what I'm sure is an irritating experience with your PC.

Not a problem.
I'd be ready to get my 16lb. electronic tuning hammer out by now if it were mine also.

I now when your just waiting and there is no response from anybody it gets to be like when someone puts you on hold with bad musak.

Hang in there.
Good luck and I hope you get it all cleared up.
Mike

You might fill in your specs while waiting.
That would be helpful.

What you know at least.

Each crash has a different cause. You video driver, storport.sys, nvstor.sys, and hardware.

Here is what I would do. Since they all seem hardware related I would update the drivers.

1- video driver

When upgrading your graphic driver you MUST remove all traces of the current driver. In order to do that we recommend using Guru3D - Driver Sweeper

When it is removed then download and install the fresh copy.

2-Storport, and nvstor.sys are storage drivers and should be re-installed with the newest version from the mfr.

3-run a system file check
SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker

Let us know the results and if you need further help

I can help searching for them but I don't know what PC you have.

No specs on motherboard etc. Brand and model number would be a good start.

Wow. I actually feel pretty stupid. I have been monitoring tempereatures, and it turns out my specific cpu shouldnt get as hot as others I have tested. I think this may be the problem. But how do i fix it? Should cleaning out the heatsink and applying new thermal paste give take off 10+ degrees?

You can probably tell I'm not great with computers. Thanks for all of your help already.
