Windows 7: Cannot repair member file "wmiacpi.sys" of acpi.inf

Cannot repair member file "wmiacpi.sys" of acpi.inf

I've just ran the SFC /scannow on Command Promt, and got 8 of these messages.

So I've try using Zip7 to extract the file(acpi.inf) from my Windows 7 disc, and still end up with the same 8 messages.

Am I even suppose to extract the acpi.inf and replace with the original one? or was that a mistake... Anyways, thanks.

Install these Realtek audio drivers: Realtek

Install these Intel NIC drivers: http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Deta...=3062&lang=eng

Other that that, software looks good. Carry on with the repair install, and if that doesn't work, enable driver verifier.

Hi, I recently ran sfc just to see if there's something wrong with my 4 years old Compaq Presario CQ40 laptop. And apparently my 'explorer.exe' is broken?? Should I keep running sfc till it eventually fix it or should I do it manually? *I uploaded the sfcdetails.txt

Hi, how can I change this? Some background - this may not be the issue I need to solve at the end of the day: I believe the location is causing crashes, since I blew up lots of Library registry values (in an attempt to remove them from the OS), and I think it defaults to the library page....
