Windows 7, me, and long up times to not mix. My computer came with windows Vista and after using it for to long i finally upgraded to windows 7. But now there is a problem, after a long uptime 12-24 hours, programs begin to stop working and the system becomes inoperable and the only fix i have found so far is to reboot. I can still move my mouse so the computer has not frozen but my ram usage, goes from 2.6gb free when first starting, to 1.3gb free after 12+ hours. Programs also start to freeze and crash, and once a program closes due to a crash or me exiting it, it will not start. Every attempt to open any .exe file gives me a crash error usually saying something along the lines of "Not enough available storage space to continue" even thought i have more than a gig of RAM and 500gb of HDD space. Control Panel displays a white background with a "Page failed to load" error and my computer simply will not open. A new error is that now after 12+ hours of up time, i can manually kill Explorer.exe task and start it again and it will work for some time, but having done this just now to post in this forum, it has entered a cycle of crashing, sending an error report, restarting, and then crashing again. In the time it took me to write this message it has already crashed about 12 times. I have done 3 reformat/reinstall's and replaced every physical piece of my computer, HDD, PSU, Mobo, RAM, CPU, GPU. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated as i did not have this problem under windows xp (longest uptime was 3 months with no problems) Vista (1 month up time) or Ubuntu (6 month uptime).
