BSOD with product 768_1

Hi all,

Since a week ago I am getting BSOD's from time to time.
The BCCode changes sometimes, though the product is always the same: 768_1
I noticed that my pc has become slower since the BSOD occur.

I've tried to check it with the debug-tool, but not really experienced with that. So hoped you guys could help me out.
Attached are some of the dump-files.

Thanks in advance.

Not really sure how to update those files which you told me to update. I did try to update them by the program themself or via Control Panel->Hardware

Deamon Tools I have deleted.
Logmein (not from Logitech btw), was already up to date.
Setpoint didnt really update itself, did install the new one.
RemotelyAnywhere...is that a the program from windows itself? Cause I have no idea else what it is, unless it belongs to Logmein, but doesnt seem to be.
Realtek I have updated via the Hardware updates now.
VIA Audio was already up to date.
For the ASUS-programs, I only have ASUSupdate to update the BIOS and EPU4Engine.

When I search for those files, they aren't even on my pc.

I will look if it is all fine now - just before i updated the Realtek I still got a BSOD though...

UNEXPECTED_KERNEL_MODE_TRAP (7f)
This means a trap occurred in kernel mode, and it's a trap of a kind
that the kernel isn't allowed to have/catch (bound trap) or that
is always instant death (double fault). The first number in the
bugcheck params is the number of the trap (8 = double fault, etc)
Consult an Intel x86 family manual to learn more about what these
traps are. Here is a *portion* of those codes:
If kv shows a taskGate
use .tss on the part before the colon, then kv.
Else if kv shows a trapframe
        use .trap on that value
Else
.trap on the appropriate frame will show where the trap was taken
(on x86, this will be the ebp that goes with the procedure KiTrap)
Endif
kb will then show the corrected stack.
Arguments:
Arg1: 0000000000000008, EXCEPTION_DOUBLE_FAULT
Arg2: 0000000080050031
Arg3: 00000000000006f8

At the moment I am getting more and more BSOD's.
I added the last dumpfile of it.

I have already run Memtest86+ just in case it might be the memory. But after a whole night of running, 10 cycles, I had no errors.

Windows7 Home Premium 64 Bit

I have done the Video Memory Stress Test. This gave no errors.
The driver of the videocard should be up to date, installed latest driver last week.

Would be supprised if Logmein would cause it, since I installed that already a year ago. I uninstalled it now, just in case.
Same for the AsusUpdate, uninstalled that as well.

As for the VIA. I went to that site, and found 3 different drivers which i could download, but didnt know which one to get.
Before I already did it through the Sound Device etc, and gave me that the driver was up to date. See the attached screenshot.

I will let you know if I still get BSOD, if so, new dumpfile will be attached.

I think the problem is solved. So far no more BSOD's, even while playing games not.
Still think it's weird that all of a sudden those BSOD's started, while I didn't update/install anything those days....

Thanks for the help cybercore.

dxgmms.sys that caused your latest crash is a DirectX file. DirectX processes not only video but also sound and other input as well. VIDEO_MEMORY_MANAGEMENT_INTERNAL (10e) means it could be a) video card b) bad drivers or even c) bad memory. Hopefully it's fixed now but if crashes resume I would suggest:

1. Submit your latest crash dumps.

2. If it is the same error 10e, uninstall ATI software and driver, reboot to safe mode, clean ATI remnants with Driver Sweeper Guru3D - Driver Sweeper. Download and install latest Catalyst.

3. Update other drivers, including the 1 for VIA audio: yes VIA support offers 3 different drivers there, you should get one for your VIA model - VT1702S, VT2010, or VT1812S. The latest driver is 2010. That device manager properties you attached basically means nothing - it just detects the driver is installed and working.

4. Unplug Logmein if support does not offer drivers newer than 2007.

5. Finally if bsod's still persist, test the video card FurMark: VGA Stress Test, Graphics Card and GPU Stability Test, OpenGL Benchmark and GPU Temperature | oZone3D.Net and RAM Memtest86+ - Advanced Memory Diagnostic Tool

Hmmm....I really have no idea what is causing it now.
I still got 1 BSOD, but the dumpfile is corrupt. Also it crashed 2-3x. Sometimes it is during a game, and sometimes just after logging in at windows.

But just now I had Civilization V running straight for 3 hours without crash....
When my pc crashes it doesnt always make a BSOD, sometimes it's just getting stuck and think the graphic card is crashed at that point. It looks like this:

I downloaded the Furmark, and that one was able to run just normally on Stability Test - Xtreme Burning Mode + Displacement mapping + Post FX. Had no problems at all. FPS was fine around 25 and the temperature was max 78, which shouldnt be a problem at all. I let it run for like 35 minutes.

Memtest86+ I have been running earlier this week already overnight, and after 10 cycles there had no errors been found.

Would a clean install of Windows7 where the C-drive will be formatted maybe help?
