    System protection enabled by command prompt?


    Okies everyone who is willing to help....i have a huge problem.

    I installed windows 7 the other night for a friend.

    I had this thing working perfectly fine.

    So i ran into an issue after they restarted the pc for a windows update.

    Whenever i boot i see the black screen with Windows is loading files.

    after that it will automatically start the start up repair.

    start up repair cannot repair this pc automatically.

    PEV:start up repair offline
    PS01:6.1.7600.16385
    PS02:6.1.7600.16385
    PS03:unknown
    PS04:-1
    PS05:autofailover
    PS06:9
    PS07:corrupt registry

    to add to this issue...i can only access start up repair

System Level Command Prompt

I am trying to make a System level command prompt show up in the Context (right click) menu. I have used the Ultimate Windows Context Menu Customizer to see if I can open up a System Command Prompt from the right-click menu. Here is my code that I used to make it show up in the context menu:...
What opinions do others have about enabling System Protection on a separate Data partition (D)? I do not recommend this normally because System Restore only restores OS and Programs anyway, so why have it possibly interfere with keeping the latest data set intact on D in case C needs...
