This persistant pop-up window has been appearing telling me my rundll32.exe has stopped working. Details are as follow:

I have seen threads similar but not the same as this one. This may stem from a virus attack that I cleaned up hours ago, and a full system scan shows nothing being wrong. I am confused and I need help!

Rundll32.exe may be broken,

With 7 install dvd in drive, cmd -> sfc /scannow.
Or replace your C:\Windows\system32\rundll32.exe with rundll32.exe from the disk.

Let's try a couple of things:
1. PLEASE READ the following tutorial in its entirety and then carry out the procedure there.
System File Checker - SFC /SCANNOW Command

Keep running until sfc gives you a clean bill of health.

Now if the problem still persists, we will try other things.
