Computer keeps bsoding.
ok heres the story.
about a month ago i was getting bsod's when i went idle, and once while i was on the computer. i posted details here " Computer keeps restarting - General-Motherboard - Motherboards-Memory "
i then reformatted and no bsod's for weeks. thought my oss install was messed up from bad oc's.
weeks later i go to restart my computer and walk out the room, when i come back i have a error message on my desktop due to a failed shutdown, im guessing that means bsod?
well just a few minutes ago it bsod'd while i was reading some forms.
i had just built this computer, everythings brand new besides cpu/gpu. im currently borrowing a friends 4850 untill 6950 comes out then ill get one of those. and cpu i bought used.
i was getting alot of driver display error popups before the format but havent recieved any since the format untill today, i received one.
also, i had 2x 1.5tb wd green hd's hooked up first time i was having this problem, one was set to a "system" harddrive, i thought maybe that was the culprit and removed them. i re added them last night and it no long says "system" harddrive.
Is Windows 7 . . .
- x86 (32-bit) or x64 ? 64bit
- the original installed OS on the system? windows 7
- an OEM or full retail version? retail
- OEM = came pre-installed on system
- Full Retail = you purchased it from retailer
- What is the age of system (hardware)? new and used
- What is the age of OS installation (have you re-installed the OS?) 2-3 weeks, and i reformated first time it was doing this.
