Good job! You have found your problem or at least part of it. Glad to hear you are running smoothly and that it was a stick that was bad and not a slot. If you decide to replace that stick, make sure you purchase the exact same kind. You do not want mismatched RAM; that leads to more problems.

Post back in two or three days and let us know if you are still running smoothly. If so, we will ask the moderators to mark this thread as solved.
