Hi All,
hopefully you guys can help me with the following problem:
I set up a new Gaming PC:
OS: Windows 7 64bit Ultimate
CPU: AMD Phenom II X6 1055T 6x2.8GHzMotherboard: Gigabyte GA-880GMA-UD2H, AMD 880G, AM3 mATX
Memory: G.Skill DDR3-RAM 4GB PC3-1333 Kit (F3-10600CL9D-4GBNT)
Graphics Card(s): MSI N460GTX Cyclone 1GD5/OC, 1024MB, GDDR5, PCI-Express
Hard Drives: 2.5" OCZ Vertex 2 Extended Series 60GB (BOOT OS)
2 x 3.5" Samsung SpinPoint F3 1000GB HD103SJ 7200U/m (RAID1) Case: Lian Li PC-V354B Micro-ATX Cube - black Cooling: Corsair CWCH50
After Installing Windows 7 (with gigabyte preinstall RAID/AHCI
Drivers) I get lots and lots of BSOD's:
"Memory_Management"
"System_Service_Exception"
"PAGE_FAULT_IN_NON_PAGED_AREA"
"PFN_LIST_CORRUPT"
"AN ATTEMPT WAS MADE TO WRITE TO READ ONLY MEMORY"
I tried Memtest about two hours. The result were five Fail Addresses within Test 5.
After installing Windows 7 the first time, everything seems to be fine. But then crashed the software Raid1 (German description "Synchronisation wird wiederholt" / maybe translated that way: "Synchronization is repeated") I got this message over hours. But I did'nt test anything else. Hence I have no idea, if BSOD'S would appear in this configuration.
After installing Windows 7 the second time with hardware Raid support BSOD's started to appear. Then I used Memtest...which results in several failures. But I did'nt give up! I installed latest drivers for the chipset, LAN, graphics, Audio and all imaginable thing. Up to this time I did not have any additional software installed! Due to the fact that also the
driver updates did'nt help, I installed Windows 7 (clean) for the third time.
And my feeling is: It's getting real worse! Now the bluescreens appear directly after the first boot and downloading Windows Updates. Then I was able to install some things but bluescreens still starting to make me sick.
I was configuring PC's since 10 years and I never had such a wide spread of different bluescreens.
As you already realized I am not native speaker. But this forum seems to be the best to match my problem.
Anyone any ideas?
Thanks Scrati
