Random reboots

Hi all,
I am just finishing my build and am a little perplexed. I am running the following:

Asus Rampage Extreme III Mother Board
I7 950 CPU
Asus 470 GTX GPU
Dominator 3x2 1600 RAM
Raptor HD 8500RPM
Thermaltake 750 toughpower PSU
Windows 7 64bit

After the build I booted up and installed Windows, Everything seemed fine until I completed all updates. At that point the system started to reboot itself without warning at random times (During start up to 15 minutes after usage) sometimes promting to start up in safe mode and sometimes just starting up as if nothing happened. After updating the Bios I reinstalled windows and this time did not run updates and rather installed just the individual drivers for all my hardware. The system has been running for hours without issues until I tried to create system image. During the burning of the DVD the system cut out again, but has remained stabil doing all other tasks. I even managed to burn a system repair disk without issues. I checked the driver for the DVD burner (Standard ASUS 24x) and it seemed fine....... Now I am not sure if I should try my luck with Windows updates to see what happens or.......?

Hi there and welcome,

http://www.sevenforums.com/crashes-d...tructions.html

Possible causes:

1. you need a better driver for your dvd burner
2. a physical hardware problem, such as cabling, bios settings, or even bad bios

The driver for the DVD burner should not be the problem as it does not happen when I burn other things. Also it happened while running different apps and virus checker.

Attached the results in original post. If anyone could steer me in some direction based on those results that would be great!

Also noticed that while installing fonts into windows the CPU would get up to 70 degrees celsius. Could the problem be that it is running hot? I am not overclocked or anything......

Your .zip does not contain any .dmp files from C:\Windows\Minidump - if you have any please attach them.

Sorry I thought running the exe file above would extract them. Following the path you gave I see no Minidump folder. Sorry I am clueless with this stuff!!
