    Bcu.exe file description
    Productname: Browser Configuration Utility
    Description: Browser Configuration Utility
    Company: DeviceVM, Inc.

Go to website, see if there is updated driver.

Does it seem to anyone that this may be a hardware issue? I have disabled all start up services. and uninstalled all programs. I am going to try a component by component stress test next. will post how it goes.

Nothing is guaranteed, but problem in safe mode there is a very good chance its hardware.
In safe mode very liitle software is running.

We always start with memory as that is the most likely
    Download memtest86 and test RAM
    www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/105647-ram-test-memtest86.html
    Run for 8 passes
If passes try a good stick in each slot for 3 passes
If fails do the same for 8 passes.
