    Hi all ..

    I just built my own pc 2 weeks ago.Everything is new :

    PSU 650W
    Hard Drives seagate 500gb

    I have to say that i only encountered BSOD only when I run the ASUS diagnostic tool which initially whenever I run it i got this error (included two here)

    ..I eliminated the memory error as I ran Memtest86+ for 20 pass and no errors were found..I suspect could be a fault on the motherbaord as It takes about 10 seconds to boot from cold before you see the first post image on monitor also when i run the usb check the program crash, it is so annoying now.I just left my pc for around an hour unattended when I came back I came and it was all froze . with a message norton antivirus is performing a background check on screenI just figured out how to attach minidump on here..can you please help in this matter I can see alot of experienced people around and I hope I would get some support much appreciated guys...thank you

    So it looks it is a problem with drivers..I eliminated the memory error as I ran Memtest86+ for 20 pass and no errors were found..I suspect could be a fault on the motherbaord as It takes about 10 seconds to boot from cold before you see the first post image on monitor..but I can live with it for the time being but it is so annoying now.I just left my pc for around an hour unattended when I came back I came and it was all froze . with a message norton antivirus is performing a background check on screen.I wanted to use your method of putting the mini dump on here but the program supplied says was not found...can you please help in this matter I can see alot of experienced people around and I hope I would get some support much apprciated guys...thank you

    If you wish to have others assist you with your computer's BSOD symptoms, upload the contents of your "\Windows\Minidump" folder. The procedure:

    * Copy the contents of \Windows\Minidump to another (temporary) location somewhere on your machine.
    * Zip up the copy.
    * Start your own thread in the appropriate section of the forum and attach the ZIP archive to your post using the "paperclip" (file attachments) button.
    * Briefly describe the problem history and circumstances in the same post. Somebody will attend to your query as soon as possible.

    Also remove Norton and replace with microsoft security essentials.
