I bought this machine in July 2010 and I have been having BSOD and Black screen issues ever since. I have been on the phone with DELL 4 times. Two times they had me run a hardware test and the test always comes back with no issues.

I have attached a DUMP file as well as a mini dump file from a recent system crash (BSOD.) When the machine goes Black and reboots, I get a mini dump, but no full dump file.

The Dell support folks are all over the map on this issue and have given me no satisfaction. On e time they told me it was a virus and they would charge me $129 to clean the machine. I am running a good virus scanner, and I am quite sure it is not a virus.

Another time, they told me to restore my machine to the original factory system, but I am reluctant to do that, since I have donwloaded a lot of software and customized the machine. I also have purchased and religously used the Dell Data Safe Local Backup premium package. The Dell support folks are clueless about the back up and restore of this package. They have no idea what it will restore.

I have updated the BIOS and drivers (ATI Driver file R257949.exe)

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    The error I get is:
