I wonder if your old Realtek drivers are the cause. Please install these ones: Realtek

If the problem persists, enable driver verifier: Driver Verifier - Enable and Disable

I'll try turning off hybrid sleep and see how it goes. I've not changed any settings in a very long time.
As for Realtek drivers, I have a dedicated sound card and have integrated sound turned off. I'll double check the BIOS to make sure that's not changed.

    Thanks for the help.

I should have clarified -- those are Realtek NIC drivers, which need an update. I get lazy and don't bother mentioning what type of Realtek drivers they are.

I turned off hybrid sleep and applied a hotfix and this morning, I didn't get a blue screen. 1 good try does not make it a success but I hope I'm on to something. I'll update the network drivers too.
Here's the hotfix I used: You receive various Stop error messages in Windows 7 or in Windows Server 2008 R2 when you try to resume a computer that has a large SATA hard disk

Dang it, today I again got the blue screen after coming out of sleep mode. It's back to the drawing board.

If the new Realtek NIC drivers are installed, please enable verifier: Driver Verifier - Enable and Disable

Post back with a new jcgriff2 report when BSODs occur: https://www.sevenforums.com/crashes-d...tructions.html

I hand this off to you, as I am terrible with blue screens I can't even decipher my own.
