You have the Conexant Audio Device - so download this driver: Lenovo Support - Drivers & Downloads

These are Windows Vista drivers, so please install them on your Win7 system using this procedure:
    Compatibilty Mode Driver Installation:
1 - Download the latest driver from the manufacturer's website.
2 - Uninstall the current drivers using the Control Panel...Programs and features...Uninstall a program applet. Then verify that the driver/device has been removed in Device Manager
3 - Right click on freshly downloaded driver installation file and select "Properties"
4 - Select the Compatibility tab - and do the following:
    - Click on the "Change settings for all users" button
    - Click on the box to select "Run this program in compatibility mode for" and then select Windows Vista Service Pack 1
    - Click on the box to select "Run as administrator"
    - Click on OK to exit all the dialogs
5 - Right click on the driver installation file and select "Run as administrator"
6 - Let it install and see if that stops the BSOD's.
Also, here's an article on adding legacy devices to Win7: Configure Legacy Devices to Run on Windows 7
Have you run the Driver Verifier yet? That will probably give us the most information (but wait until your exams are over).

The link is further down on the page by the IN2AUD15WW3.exe link

Or, this link will lead you to the EULA, and once you accept it, will allow you to download the file: Lenovo Ideapad Support & downloads - Terms and conditions

Still need for you to run Driver Verifier.

    How To Find Drivers:
    - search Google for the name of the driver
    - compare the Google results with what's installed on your system to figure out which device/program it belongs to
    - visit the web site of the manufacturer of the hardware/program to get the latest drivers (DON'T use Windows Update or the Update driver function of Device Manager).
    - if there are difficulties in locating them, post back with questions and someone will try and help you locate the appropriate program.
    - - The most common drivers are listed on this page: Driver Reference Driver Reference
    - - Driver manufacturer links are on this page: Drivers and Downloads

still no driver verifier run. faulting driver could not be determined without it.
