    Small glitch - mouse lags

I couldn't think of where else on the forum to put this...so here it is:

Sometimes on my W7 64bit PC after logging on (and until I reboot to fix the small glitch) I'll notice that when dragging my mouse cursor simply over (left to right, right to left, up/ down etc) my desktop that the cursor kind of lags slightly every few inches. It will drag smoothly for a while and then it will lag and freezes for a tiny bit then catch up again...if you know what I mean.

I haven't been able to duplicate or repeat the glitch...it just has happened two times on a bootup. A simple restart has fixed it both times. I have very few startup programs...and the glitch is not consistent every boot...just two times since I have had W7...about a month and a bit.

Anyone know what it could be?

    thanks

Most likely memory, but can be the mouse driver.
Go to device managera and make sure that the mouse driver is updated and working properly (no yellow markers)
Go to device manger (right click on task bar) and make sure that under performance tab there is enough free and available memory
If this does not look like the problem. Make an antivirus scan and download and scan with malwarebytes.

As a last resort, test memory with memtest86.

To be honest it does not seem like a very serirous problem that should consume too much of your time trying to remedy.
