    Crashes in Sleep mode

Hey guys, My computer went dead so I had to format and reinstall windows 7 ultimate 32 bit. Everything is working fine when i actually use the computer. But there is an issue when i put it to sleep mode. The computer always successfully enters sleep mode, but it has issues starting back up after sleep mode. When i put the computer to sleep, i close the lid, and when i open it back up, it should turn on windows again.
What is happening, is that when I do open the lid, instead of returning to windows, it goes through the boot process, then says that windows didnt shut down properly and asks me to "start windows normally" or boot into safe mode. I dont want this to keep happening, what do i do?

Try disabling hybrid sleep through your advanced power settings:

Hmm... If that did not work, and it's already disabled, give this hot-fix from Microsoft a try:

    Help and Support

    Select the x86 version :)

it didn't work either. let me provide you with more details. So, when i do close the lid/put it to sleep, my computer does successfully sleep. But it doesn't do it for extended periods of time. Like if i open it soon after i put it to sleep, it will work fine, what i noticed is that the issue only occurs if i put it to sleep for extended periods of time... I dont understand why this is happening. Is there some shut down/hibernate setting or something that is interfering?
Would reseating the memory help? AHHH!

have you tried hitting a keyboard key to wake it up from sleep?

Also the first post, after reading carefully with your addtional information, I wonder if you disconnect the power right after you close the lid?

I dont disconnect the power when i put it to sleep, this problem occurs when it is plugged in and also when it isn't. Ill try the sleep button when i get the chance next and i will update this thread. Any other ideas?

I have the same issue with my computer and the only thing i could do was to disable sleep mode as the screen is the big consumer of a computer you can simulate a sleep mode by going :

right click on destop -> custom -> screensaver

here you can find a tick box to ask password when you come back .

    I hope your computer isn't a laptop
