Oops... removed ATI Catalyst DOOH

I was having crashing problems with a program, and thought the issue may be because I have a Nividia 9400graphics card, that was conflicting with the on board ATI catalyst. So yesterday I went to the add/remove programs and removed ATI Catalyst.

Today I walk into my office and my computer is sitting at the "system failed to boot" screen, and says my achcix64s.sys file is corrupt. I"m trying to do a system restore, but that doesn't appear to be working.

Any suggestions?

thannks much in advance...

You sure of the spelling on that file name? there are no other references to it in google. If the spelling is right it may be a virus.

Meh, typo:

ahcix64s.sys.

I ended up using an old restore from 3 months ago that that solved it... I thoiugh I had my system set to backup daily and create an image weekly.... but apparently not.
