    Once Memtest finds errors, you can turn it off. You now know you have a RAM problem; but you still have to determine what the problem is: bad RAM stick, bad motherboard slot, RAM is mismatched, RAM is not compatible with the motherboard, bad memory controller (not really likely). To begin, pull all of your RAM except the stick in the first slot. Run Memtest on that stick for at least seven passes. If you get no errors, put that stick aside and mark it as good. Now test the next stick in the same manor and so on for all of your RAM sticks. Be sure to keep good RAM sticks separated from bad sticks.

    If all sticks pass, take one good stick and test the second slot and so on until you have tested each slot. Post back with your results.

    Yeah, thats what i did, because the RAM is clearly faulty when it's got errors.

    My RAM was matched to the board, it is also two of the same sticks, with the same clock speed. But my previous motherboard Asus M4A79T Deluxe and my OCZ 2x2GB RAM sticks were bought of eBay ... -_- I already had to replace the motherboard, and I bought the MSI one. Now it's time for the RAM ... I will never buy anything from eBay again ...

    As a matter of fact, I'm going to borrow 2GB DDR3 of my friend today and I will see how that goes. I can't afford to buy a ram stick and the problem will turn out to be something else. And I can't test them individually because my CPU cooler is in the way and there is no good way of taking it off and putting back on without taking the whole motherboard out first. It's rubbish!

    //UPDATE

    yay! managed to take out the second stick. No Errors so far, 1st pass :) now just need to find a way to test the other stick/ram slot

    Very good. Test the stick you took out in that first slot if you can.

    I can't really. First RAM stick, the one i can't take out, is fine. 8 passes. Now i just found cheap RAM in the city centre, i bought it ... but the voltage is missmatched my ones are at 1.9v the new one is at 1.65v ... dang ... can i still use one of the good ones i have with the new one?

    They are both OCZ Gold edition PC3 12800 ... my old one is OCZ3G16004GK, the new one is OCZ3G1600LV6GK

    Yes, you can continue to use the good ones with the bad stick removed. Do not mix RAM types. Mismatched RAM is trouble waiting to happen.

    They are both on the same clock speed, just small difference in voltage. Same company, same edition, same type PC3 12800. It should be fine. It hasn't crashed for ages now, and before i couldn't turn it on.
