    svchost.exe//other help//cmd.exe

1)Whenever the desktop loads up, it doesn't load. it sits there as a black screen. so i have to go to task manager and type it in to run explorer.exe... then it does show all the icons, starting programs and etc

    2) After running explorer.exe, an error message comes up: svchost.exe stopped working... ?

    3) And finally in my task manager... theres of unknown programs that i don't know and cmd.exe does stop repeating itself...why is this... I have scanned my computer VERY THOROUGHLY with avast and nothing has came up..

thanks for you time, and help!

    Welcome
Download and make a full up to date scan with malwarebytes
    If negative
    Try clean boot
How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7

I am assuming that your scan caught all the virus, but Malwarebytes is one of the best for malware.
