    BSOD - Multiple Crashes

    Hello SevenForums users,

Recently, I updated two of my hardware which was my processor and hard disk.

My old Processor was: Intel Core 2 Dual 3.00 GHz.
My new processor is: Intel Core 2 Quad 2.50 GHz.

The hard drive which I updated was just an addon, I added 1TB hard drive along side with my 300GB one.

I've attached everything that was told.

I honestly don't know what it is, I've just done a fresh install of Windows 7 Ultimate, and i keep getting BSOD. I've never had a BSOD until I changed the processor.

    Code:
    Is Windows 7 . . .
    - x86 (32-bit)
    - Nope, I installed Windows 7 Ultimate just today.
    - a Full Retail

    - What is the age of system (hardware): I honestly don't know, I bought this computer let me guess July, 2010. All the hardware was brand new.
    - What is the age of OS installation: I installed the OS today.

    I see it. Thanks.

    KERNEL_MODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED_M (1000008e)
This is a very common bugcheck. Usually the exception address pinpoints
the driver/function that caused the problem. Always note this address
as well as the link date of the driver/image that contains this address.
Some common problems are exception code 0x80000003. This means a hard
coded breakpoint or assertion was hit, but this system was booted
/NODEBUG. This is not supposed to happen as developers should never have
hardcoded breakpoints in retail code, but ...
If this happens, make sure a debugger gets connected, and the
system is booted /DEBUG. This will let us see why this breakpoint is
    happening.
    Arguments:
Arg1: c0000005, The exception code that was not handled
Arg2: 888fa7de, The address that the exception occurred at
    Arg3: a799fafd, Trap Frame
    Arg4: 00000000

    Debugging Details:

Your dump does not give us a specific cause. But there are some clues. I find that a Fox One driver is shown as an unloaded module. This means it was involved in the crash, but not necessarily the cause. However the driver is way obsolete. I recommend that you uninstall Fox One. It is XP software and not compatible with Win 7.
FXExSS32.sys 24/01/2007 - Fox One FOX ONE-Directions for Bundled Software
Please refresh your page in about 20 minutes.

I also find these outdated drivers loaded on your system. Older drivers can and do cause memory corruption and BSOD's. Those in red font are really obsolete. Update these drivers.
ALSysIO.sys Sun Apr 19 15:41:19 2009 - Core Temp - CPU temperature monitor. Core Temp. Update this driver.

irsir.sys Sat Jan 19 00:55:21 2008 - Serial Infrared Driver. Windows Update. If you cannot update this driver, uninstall the infrared device. It is obsolete.

nvm62x32.sys Fri Oct 17 17:00:39 2008 - nVidia Ethernet Networking Driver (nForce chipset driver). Drivers - Download NVIDIA Drivers. Update this driver.

RimUsb.sys Mon May 14 12:17:14 2007 - BlackBerry Device Driver is a driver file from Research In Motion Limited belonging to BlackBerry Device Driver. Research In Motion - Products. This software is obsolete. Uninstall it.
Uninstall Fox One and update the above drivers. Reboot and see how your system runs. Please update us. If you get another BSOD, upload it and we will go from there.

    Hey CarlTR6,

To add to that, as you said Fox One may not be the cause but could be. The thing I found is, ever since I installed this new CPU, I've had blue screens ever since. I don't know why that is, because I know it's compatible with the Motherboard.

I generally don't know, if I get any more Blue Screens I'll try and see if it's more specific.

In the meantime, thank you for the effort you put in of the help.

    Regards,
    Scott-Cameron

I have to say, thinking about it now. These BSOD did show when/soon as I installed Windows 7. Once I had updated all the drivers. I've only received one BSOD.

Is it possible to receive BSOD if the CPU's fan isn't as good as it should be?
I'm not sure, but I feel as if the current fan (Intel Stock) isn't as good. My CPU does go over 40c.

I know when I go on Dual-Screen and load a game on my computer.

    Regards,
    Scott-Cameron

Yes, overheating will cause BSOD's. What is the max temp for your CPU? If you think heat is a problem, you can try running with the side cover off. My guess is those obsolete drivers are causing the problem or certainly causing instability of your system.

The side cover of my computer has been off the whole time. The drivers I have updated or/either uninstalled.

As I was sending this, I had a game open which was Garry's Mod (windowed mode) and two browsers open with a Movie (VLC) going and I just received a BSOD.

    The BCCode is: 1000008e
    BCP1: C0000005
    BCP2: 92C33FE5
    BCP3: 948B95B4
    BCP4: 00000000

I don't understand why this keeps happening.

I think the max CPU Temp is 40c, I'm pretty sure thats right.
