Windows 7: BSOD whilst loading multiple applications

I am getting lock ups whilst loading multiple applications at once. Most often this occurs when first booting a game or internet site with video.

I have Windows 7 Professional x64 full retail version, on a fresh install ~1 month old. Computer hardware is ~2.5 years old.

If you wish to have others assist you with your computer's BSOD symptoms, upload the contents of your "\Windows\Minidump" folder. The procedure:

* Copy the contents of \Windows\Minidump to another (temporary) location somewhere on your machine.
* Zip up the copy.
* Attach the ZIP archive to your post using the "paperclip" (file attachments) button.
* Briefly describe the problem history and circumstances in the same post. Somebody will attend to your query as soon as possible.

I cannot get a dump file to write, any tips on how to make this work when getting the BSOD? I have a picture of it, and I changed my settings to create a small dump file in the \Minidump folder but its empty/not there.
