Vaio F11 Sporadic BSOD

Hey I'm having problems with random sporadic BSOD's.

I think I've narrowed the problem down to the SFEP.sys driver file, or the Sony File Extension Parser driver file. However I have not been able to solve the problem. I have updated all drivers to the most current release, with the exception of the graphics drivers, as the new driver provided by Nvidia causes other problems.

The original problem that started me on this quest was a lot of various IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL BSOD's. After running driver verifier, the system will crash reporting SFEP.sys as the source.

I am running a Vaio VPCF1190X, purchased in March. Windows was factory installed and has not been reinstalled since. The system is 64-bit with an intel i7-720 core, and samsung Ram that has been verified in memtest86+ with no problems.

Attached are the dmp files from the past week or so. any help that can be provided is wonderful.

IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (a)
An attempt was made to access a pageable (or completely invalid) address at an
interrupt request level (IRQL) that is too high. This is usually
caused by drivers using improper addresses.
If a kernel debugger is available get the stack backtrace.
Arguments:
Arg1: 0000000000000000, memory referenced
Arg2: 0000000000000002, IRQL
Arg3: 0000000000000000, bitfield :
 bit 0 : value 0 = read operation, 1 = write operation
bit 3 : value 0 = not an execute operation, 1 = execute operation (only on chips which support this level of status)
Arg4: fffff800032ce8b6, address which referenced memory

The reports that you have submitted reveal clues to the cause of your problem. They do not give a definitive answer. The more reports that we receive the more clues are made available improving our chances of finding a solution to your problem. You may have to experience several more BSODs until the final answer is discovered.

If overclocking restore normal settings

SFC /scannow
System Files - SFC Command

Scan with your Anti Virus

Update outdated listed drivers. If I have inadvertently listed any Microsoft Drivers, they can be ignored. If the list is extensive I have included the driver verifier test so that you may determine which drivers are in need of immediate attention.

How to Find Drivers
search Google for the name of the driver
- compare the Google results with what's installed on your system to figure out which device/program it belongs to
- visit the web site of the manufacturer of the hardware/program to get the latest drivers (DON'T use Windows Update or the Update driver function of Device Manager).
- if there are difficulties in locating them, post back with questions and someone - will help you search Google for the name of the driver
- compare the Google results with what's installed on your system to figure out which device/program it belongs to
- - if there are difficulties in locating them, post back with questions and someone will try and help you locate the appropriate program.
- The most common drivers are listed on this page: http://www.carrona.org/dvrref.html
- - Driver manufacturer links are on this page: http://www.carrona.org/drvrdown.html
