multiple BSOD Windows 7 x64
Ok so where to start? I bought a custom built computer on ebay with following specs. (yes i know.. this is the part where most people already ask why in the world i would buy a computer of ebay..)
-Mainboard: ASRock 890GX Extreme 3
-AMD Phenom II X6 1055T AM3 2,6Ghz
-4 GB OCZ3P1333LV4GK
-Western Digital caviar green 1 TB
-XFX AMD Radeon HD 5850
And I am running the whole thing on Windows 7 x64.
Every time the computer was turned off for a longer period of time the BSOD seems to pop up. It then normally hits between 1-3 times (BSOD's are nearly never the same) and then disappears until the computer was turned off for a longer period of time. In other words.. once it runs it runs.. I can even re start it or turn it off for a few min. and all will still be good. I started off thinking it might be a Hardware problem so after updating BIOS and the drivers for the graphics card I hoped to see it eliminated.. searching the Internet I found a lot of people getting blue screens duo to the OCZ Ram. I changed the Clocking from the recommended (auto) 7-7-7-20 to 8-8-8-24 since users where reporting it to have solved there BSOD's. It didn't help.. Oh and i got some bad news.. The perfmon.html seems to be in German (yeah I sorry.. I'm running windows in German..) Other then that the only thing left to add is that I used memtest (in windows) to check out the memory.. I got no error reports and quit after 300% and that I am running Microsoft security essentials.
