BSOD Power State Failure - Please help

    I re-installed Vipre just to see what the problem was. I did not install the firewall, only the virus part and I have not had any crashes. So, it appears to be the Vipre firewall that was causing all the issues (and perhaps the outdated drivers).

    Curtis, you are welcome. It is a pleasure working with you. Vipre is not that good of an antivirus program; it is not rated nearly as high as MSE. If your wish to try a good 3rd party, try Avast. The current version of Avast is designed to run with Win 7. It has an email scanner which MSE lacks.
