    BSoD on my new computer

    Hi everyone,

I'm having trouble with my computer brought yesterday:

    Motherboard: Asus M4A88T-V
Processor: AMD Phenom™ II X4 955 Black Edition
    RAM: Kingston ValueRAM DDR3 2 x 2 Go PC10600 CAS 9
    GC: Sapphire Radeon™ HD 6850 1Go
OS: Windows Seven 64 Bits OEM

It crashes almost every ten minutes, even when I'm just surfing on the web. I really don't know what to do. Could you please, help me?

ps: sorry for my bad english, it's not my native language.

Hi, Xabi; and welcome to the forums. Your English is fine. Sorry that you are having problems. I looked at your four most recent dumps. Each one directly blames the driver for your wireless LAN adapter.
sis163u.sys Tue Dec 19 22:19:06 2006 - SiS163 USB Wireless LAN Adapter, Silicon Integrated Systems Corp. belonging to NDIS 5.1 NIC Driver. http://www.sis.com/download/
This driver is obsolete and is and XP driver. Update the driver; if there is no update for it, upgrade to a new wireless adapter certified compatible with Win 7 and and uninstall your current adapter.
Error code D1 (4X), DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL. Usually caused be a device driver.

I find an almost guaranteed BSOD maker on your system, sptd.sys. Please remove any CD virtualization programs such as Daemon Tools and Alcohol 120%. They use a driver, found in your dmp, sptd.sys, that is notorious for causing BSODs. Use this SPTD uninstaller when you're done: DuplexSecure - Downloads. Select uninstall; do NOT select reinstall.

Here is a free alternative CD virtualization program that does not use the sptd.sys driver.
    Freeware MagicISO Virtual CD/DVD-ROM(MagicDisc) Overview

Uninstall sptd.sys and update your wireless LAN driver; upgrade your LAN if necessary. After making these changes, reboot and run your system. Update us and let us know how it is running. If you get anohter BSOD, upload the dimp and we will go from there.

    Hi CarlTR6,

I've uninstalled my xp driver for my wireless LAN adapter. I've only found Vista 64 drivers to replace but it looks to work fine. I really want to thank you a lot, I would never have found where do these BSoD came from by myself. I've tried a lot of things (Reinstall GC drivers, Testing RAM, checking BIOS version...) and I'm amazed to see the cause of my trouble.

Once again, thank you, it was really frustrating buying a new computer and not be able to use it.

ps: I've only installed Daemons Tools to emulate Memtest (I burned it on a CD later), I don't use this kind of programs a lot but thank's for the freeware anyway.

You are welcome, Zabi; glad I was able to help. Some Vista drivers work very well with Windows 7. Post back in two or three days and let us know how your system is running. If you are still BSOD free, we will ask the moderators to mark this thread as solved. If you get another BSOD, upload it and we will go from there.

Ok, I'm back and still having BSoD issues.

I've uninstalled everything you told me to but my PC was still crashing. So, I've chosen to reinstall Seven with only the necessary but I've had another BlueScreen this morning.

So, here's the new files (attachements) for the analysis.

I'm really bored with this blue screen troubles...

I hope it's going to work. This little usb drives key drives me crazy and it's the only way to connect to the internet. I was thinking about buying an ethernet cable, I think that will be my next purchase.

Anyway, thank you both for your help.
