Yes, I am pretty sure I got the x64 driver for the card, I was quite excited about that particular aspect of the system! I did check the connections (the card itself is not powered by a cable) and the seating. All were fine. I read in another thread about the HD5670 and Black screens that the cure had proved to be altering the clock speed!! I really hope I won't have to go that way...
Thank you very much for your feedback. Before joining this forum (my first!!) I was starting to feel rather despondent. Things look somewhat brighter now
