ATI HD5670 causes BlackSOD

    Hello 1Bowtie!!
    Yes, I am pretty sure I got the x64 driver for the card, I was quite excited about that particular aspect of the system! I did check the connections (the card itself is not powered by a cable) and the seating. All were fine. I read in another thread about the HD5670 and Black screens that the cure had proved to be altering the clock speed!! I really hope I won't have to go that way...
    Thank you very much for your feedback. Before joining this forum (my first!!) I was starting to feel rather despondent. Things look somewhat brighter now :)

    If you like to read there is a wealth of information and many people with way more knowledge than i will ever know. With that said they will stay with a problem till it's fixed that you can always count on. So just hang in there fix yours then come back and maybe you can help someone else:)

    Well, I am looking forward to the day I will know something useful to someone else!!!! It may be a while though...... In the meantime, I am really glad for the community out there prepared to spend time trying to solve other's computer problems. Thanks for your support, 1Bowtie.
