Windows 7: Starting Up Black Screen

I'm not very techy and I'm on my moms computer but I got my laptop in August. And I got hit with a virus and I was in the middle of getting rid of it when my laptop shut down and now it seems to be stuck on the "Starting Windows" Page. You know the one where it says "Starting Windows" And it's usually either black or blue with a swirly circle? It's right before you have your login data. Well, I'm on that page and it doesn't seem to want to go past that. I have Windows 7 and I don't know what happened. I ran the Start-Up Repair and I tried starting in Safe Mode but nothings working. Help please?

Use Kaspersky Rescue Disk

Or do a scan of Malwarebytes in safe mode, if booting into safe mode odes not work try the above suggestion

When you started in Safe Mode, did it get past the "Starting Windows" screen?

Before my computer shut down I did a Malwarebytes scan and then it shut down suddenly and since then it hasn't started back up.

To JDobbsy1987 I trired starting in Safe Mode and it's stuck at the "Loading Windows Files" page.

Then try the kaspersky rescue disk posted in the first post
