    BSOD Problem...again

    Hi folks,

    Have always gotten BSOD every once in a while. Now, bought 2nd hard drive installed it, (currently running 2 now instead of 1).....Did a clean OS install, and right out of the gate I am getting at least 1 BSOD a day.

    Here are the dump files....Please help...I am ready to just by a store bought comp, or switch to apple....I have had it...

    Please can someone tell me what is the cause of these BSODs?

    Thanks,

    Kennedy

    It looks like you have some out of date drivers. Update your video driver, your NVidia drivers and your NVidia chipset drivers.
    atikmdag.sys Fri Apr 24 06:51:57 2009 - ATI Video driver (remove the Catalyst Control Center and only install the Display Driver). Global Provider of Innovative Graphics, Processors and Media Solutions | AMD.

    nvhda64v.sys Fri Jun 26 18:54:59 2009 - nVidia HDMI Audio Device (nForce chipset driver). Drivers - Download NVIDIA Drivers.

    nvraid.sys Wed May 20 02:39:40 2009 - nVidia nForce RAID Driver. Drivers - Download NVIDIA Drivers.

    nvsmu.sys Mon Jun 29 03:36:37 2009 - nVidia nForce System Management Controller (nVidia nForce chipset driver). Drivers - Download NVIDIA Drivers.
    Because two of the dumps indicate possible file system problems, I suggest you run Check Disk -
    Run CHKDSK /R /F from an elevated (Run as adminstrator) Command Prompt. Please do this for each hard drive on your system.
    When it tells you it can't do it right now - and asks you if you'd like to do it at the next reboot - answer Y (for Yes) and press Enter. Then reboot and let the test run. It may take a while for it to run, but keep an occasional eye on it to see if it generates any errors. See "CHKDSK LogFile" below in order to check the results of the test.

    Elevated Command Prompt:
    Go to Start and type in "cmd.exe" (without the quotes)
    At the top of the Search Box, right click on Cmd.exe and select "Run as administrator"

    CHKDSK LogFile:
    Go to Start and type in "eventvwr.msc" (without the quotes) and press Enter
    Expand the Windows logs heading, then select the Application log file entry.
    Double click on the Source column header.
    Scroll down the list until you find the Chkdsk entry (wininit for Windows 7) (winlogon for XP).

    Copy/paste the results into your next post.

    Run Check Disk and update these drivers, reboot and let's see how your system does. Update us and let us know. If you get another BSOD after updating these drivers, upload it and we will go from there.

    APC_INDEX_MISMATCH (1)
    This is a kernel internal error. The most common reason to see this
    bugcheck is when a filesystem or a driver has a mismatched number of
    calls to disable and re-enable APCs. The key data item is the
    Thread->KernelApcDisable field. A negative value indicates that a driver
    has disabled APC calls without re-enabling them. A positive value indicates
    that the reverse is true. This check is made on exit from a system call.
    Arguments:
    Arg1: 000000007767ff8a, address of system function (system call)
    Arg2: 0000000000000000, Thread->ApcStateIndex << 8 | Previous ApcStateIndex
    Arg3: 00000000ffff0000, Thread->KernelApcDisable
    Arg4: fffff88006ca5ca0, Previous KernelApcDisable
