    HS is missing

    Hello,

" c0000135 The program can't start because %hs is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem. "

Thats what windows reports me after i try to boot, in a nice blue screen background.

I'm so mad at this, i had just finished reinstalling windows, i just finished installing all drivers, setting everything up, installed all programs, even installed all mods from my games, and then i went to sleep turned off my computer, and in the morning, i boot my computer up, and this shows up.

Now, i googled for a bit, and :

It can either be AVG, bad Installation Disc, or Bad Cd/DVD Drive.

Now since i've used this disc many times, and my DVD drive is perfectly working, and AVG was asking me to reboot the computer to install and update, i'm going to go with AVG.

So, AVG Internet Security is the culprit, and i can't boot in safe mode nor Startup Repair works. What do i do?

I'm currently talking through the BIOS FLASH operating system, if that helps.

    Please help me,
    Thanks,
    Alex.

I just got this error this morning as well. I have not tried this solution, but all my research points here:

Free Antivirus | Forum - How To Disable AVG When The Operating System Cannot Be Started Properly

I found this post to be the best help, as it is the same laptop I have:

    HELP C0000135 %hs is missing

I am going to try this tonight, so I will let you know if it fixes the problem.

Yeah, I already solved the problem, sorry i forgot to update you guys. Nothing seemed to work for me, so i had to boot an installation disc, and then clicked the solve problems or something like that link on the menu, then i chose LOAD DRIVERS, and i renamed AVG installation from the load drivers UI. Easy. Oh, and after you boot again, install AVG, and then Uninstall it, and then install it again. And also remove the folder you renamed. If you have any problems, just PM me. OH and why the hell does sevenforums kills my text formatting? there should be like three paragraphs here.
