    Try running Prime95: https://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials...t-prime95.html

Do you have access to another PSU?

No I don't have another PSU Regarding the Prime95, 5. Keep an eye on your temperatures, and stop the test if the machine starts to overheat. How hot exactly is counted as overheating? And once a error pops out I stop the test?

PS:Can I do other stuff while the test runs? Like game or msn?

PS:I just started it and speedfan is already showing the "fire" icon... http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/b...95speedfan.jpg

I would be concerned if the CPU went much over 70 C. Don't worry about Speedfan's flame icons.

If an error occurs, you can stop the test.

There is no harm in doing other stuff while the test runs. You may find the system very slow, however.

Yes I tried gaming but it was so slow I gave up. You came back at the right timing :) The Prime95 test has ran for almost 12 hours and not a single error. Is that good or bad? :\

That's good; I would consider the CPU to be good, as far as we can test it.

I'm interested to see if the network errors are gone yet. Could you upload a new jcgriff2 report for us?

Finally, is it possible that you could purchase a new PSU from a computer components store? Make sure they will allow you to return it, if you don't need it.

    I see another error:
    Code:
    Event[1056]:
      Log Name: System
      Source: Microsoft Antimalware
      Date: 2010-12-07T08:21:50.000
      Event ID: 3002
      Task: N/A
      Level: Error
      Opcode: Info
      Keyword: Classic
      User: N/A
      User Name: N/A
      Computer: Jingyu-PC
      Description:
Microsoft Antimalware Real-Time Protection feature has encountered an error and failed.
         Feature: Behavior Monitoring
         Error Code: 0x80004005
         Error description: Unspecified error
Reason: The filter driver requires an up-to-date engine in order to function. You must install the latest definition updates in order to enable real-time protection.
Open MSE, update to the latest definitions, and then run a Full scan.

Carry on with the PSU change, if at all possible. Also, if you can bring yourself to spend the day offline, you might also consider disabling your network adapter in Device Manager.

Hmm the MSE is already up to date? o.o I'll run a full scan now. What PSU do you recommend? I bought all my stuff from here...http://fuwell.com.sg/uploads/misc/Fuwell271110.pdf

PS:Strange enough, during the 12 hours of stress testing my com didn't crash o-o

If the PSU is a little spotty, that may explain why it didn't crash during the 12 hours of testing.

Okay MSE done. Nothing came up.

Cousin recommended testing out any 3d game that is cpu and power consuming and see whether it will crash. So I'm downloading crysis demo atm.

I found this from another thread...

It is really interesting that so many people experince the same kind of problems, and the other interesting thing is that the configurations with Bsods are all new like mine.I have a Gigabyte P55 chipset board and choosing XMP(Extreme Memory Profile) which automatically adjusts the frequency and voltage of rams and processor seems to work for me since I haven't had bsods till then, it may be worth trying....

    Should I try this?
