BSOD (mostly

Hey there,

have a Lenovo T61 with NVIDIA graphics (see sys specs) with numerous BSODs over the last 1 1/2 years. Mainboard was changed twice (one refurbished, one completely new). Last change was in March 2010.

BSODs mostly appear when running flash videos and having some sort of ... cpu usage. Sometimes just at reading newspaper websites or editing something using Excel ...
(frequency: sometimes 3 times a day, then nothing for 2 or 3 weeks).

CPU temperature no more then 65°C (149°F) using TPFancontrol.
Tried serveral anti-virus programs, now at MSE.

Hello,
Start with uninstall TPFancontrol because it was involved in the crash, for alternative software you may use speedfan to monitor CPU temperature.

Also remove Alcohol or Daemon software because they use sptd.sys which is notorious for causing BSOD in windows 7.
Uninstall sptd.sys with this tools --> DuplexSecure - Downloads
Then for alternative software, you may use MagicIso.

You haven't read my post carefully.
All drivers that I listed before are not only Levono driver, for Nvdia and Intel driver can be updated from manufacture website not from IBM-Levono website.
No wonder if Nvdia driver still pointed as the cause.
