BSOD in New Mother Board, help !

    Hi,
    am using windows 7 x64.
i had BSOD problem and found out the problem is mother boards ram slots and one of my ram is also malfunctioning.

After replacing with a new different mother board i am getting BSOD in startup.

i thought windows 7 will automatically accept the new chipset. Is there are any ways to prevent from reinstalling windows again ?

    thank you.

Note : since the system is getting BSOD in the startup i couldn't get the dump file.

Often times, a new Windows installation is needed, when the motherboard is replaced. I recommend that you do a custom install, to save your data. That is a clean install, except that you do not format or delete any partitions. See this tutorial: Custom Install Windows 7
