Windows 7

Bsod again...

I was here about BSOD around 2 months ago and got some advice and followed it and it stopped. Then about a month ago my computer started restarting on it's own maybe 3-4 times a week (it's always on) but no BSOD. Today it came...
Here's my info

- x64
- the original installed OS on the system
- an OEM
- My system is about a year old
- I have reinstalled OS in September I think

See attached files.

Thank you

Hello,

It appears that ZoneAlarm is causing the issue. If you want to keep it, try installing this hotfix: Stop error message when you run an application that transfers data by using the UDP protocol in Windows Server 2008 R2 or in Windows 7: "STOP 0x0000007F"

If that does not solve the problem, remove it with this tool: http://download.zonealarm.com/bin/fr...cpes_clean.exe

Reset the Windows firewall if/when you remove ZoneAlarm.

Hi, nusha; sorry you are having trouble again. Actually, you had two recent dumps. Both of them are the same error code and both blame a Windows system core driver, not very likely to be the real cause.

You have some really outdated drivers loaded on your system. Out of date drivers can and do cause conflicts, memory corruption and BSOD's. Update these drivers or uninstall the software/hardware they are associated with.

LVUSBS64.sys Sat Jul 26 11:06:36 2008 - Logitech Camera driver. Downloads. See above.

MarvinBus64.sys Fri Sep 23 17:17:03 2005 - likely a part of Pinnacle Studio's Marvin Bus. Pinnacle Systems - Product Support. This XP software; uninstall it.

nvsmu.sys Mon Jun 29 03:36:37 2009 - nVidia nForce System Management Controller (nVidia nForce chipset driver). Drivers - Download NVIDIA Drivers. Update this driver.

wdcsam.sys Wed Apr 16 04:39:08 2008 - Western Digital SCSI Arcitecture Model (SAM) WDM driver. WD Support / Downloads / Select Product. Update this driver.
How to find drivers -
Quote:
- I have listed links to most of the drivers in the code box above. Please use the links there to see what info I've found about those drivers.
- search Google for the name of the driver
- compare the Google results with what's installed on your system to figure out which device/program it belongs to
- visit the web site of the manufacturer of the hardware/program to get the latest drivers (DON'T use Windows Update or the Update driver function of Device Manager).
- if there are difficulties in locating them, post back with questions and someone will try and help you locate the appropriate program.

- - The most common drivers are listed on this page:
Driver Reference
- - Driver manufacturer links are on this page:

Thank you both for your answers. The thing is that my previous BSOD was caused by Zone Alarm and I uninstalled it. but t using this soft you advised me to us downloaded it but it won't start... I double click, computer thinks for 3-4 secs and then nothing... Before I even cleaned my regestry (by hand though, not using any registry cleaning soft)

As for my drivers - I'll update them, thanks for the links! I'll keep you posted.

Thank you again!

Nina
