    Acer Prestige 5630 freeze

    Hi,

I got a notebook Acer Prestige 5630 with Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit.

The problem is that my computer is freezing often. The problem don't come from Win 7 because he was doing the same freezing with XP...

I did all the update possible for Windows and for the driver... I tought the batterie was the problem so i bought a new one but it didn't change nothing...

The computer freeze often when he's cold. The first 2-3 boot freeze... After, i pretty good...

Someone said the problem probably come from the motherboard.

I know this computer isn't design for Windows 7 but i did the same with XP so...

    Any idea ?

Sounds like a hardware issue. I have seen in some other electronic devices the same behavior like we run the device for a few mins it starts to work. I used to happen due to bad condenser on the circuit board. How old is your motherboard ?
