    BSOD & Clicking Hard Drive

    Hi All

I have a Windows 7 laptop (11 months old) and have had no trouble until last week when i tried to download the new IOS 4.2 for my Ipad.I left the PC running, and downloading the file fine, but when i returned, the screen was black with a message saying disk cable loose, no bootable options

I rebooted the PC, and now every time i try to download a file from the internet that is bigger than a couple of MB, it crashes to a BSOD. The hard drive has started to click slightly when i am downloading/installing files/programs.

    Can anyone help please?

    Cheers

    Billy

Clicking HDD is not good, get it back where you bought it while it's under warranty.

You probably have lost all data too, hope it's backed up, same thing happened to me and l started to back up after that.

    Good luck
