this might be a hardware issue or driver/windows issue. i have tried 2 different ati cards that work on another computer and ccc doesnt start. i replaced everything but the cpu and the problem persisted.
i have other weird crashes but most are related to hyper threading on the i7. if i disable hyper threading in the bios then windows doesnt crash at startup.
