    Virus Hassles

I have many trojan and malware viruses, that stops me from accessing everything that's required to go online.
With Windows update, I get error code 80072EFD.
Any ideas on where I should start to resolve this problem.
    Thanks Keith
I have Toshiba laptop A500 with Windows 7, and 32 bit

Use the F8 key while booting to get to the menu, choose start in safe mode with networking. Download and run Malwarebytes Anti Malware.

    Virus hassles

I cannot get the computer to respond to F8.
I tried "msconfig" from the start search menu, and a small pop-up says C:\windows\system32\msconfig.exe
    Application not found
    Any ideas???
    Thanks Keith

Turn the computer off, if necessary, by holding in the power button on the front of the tower. Then start with power button, before black screen appears, start pressing the F8 button repeatedly. This should bring up the boot menu options screen.

There should be something like "Safe Mode with Networking". Select that one and follow DMHolt57's instruction.

I've downloaded Malwarebytes Anti-Malware - Reviews and free Malwarebytes Anti-Malware downloads at Download.com to flash drive, and my infected computer asks "open with" . It doen't auto run. Which program would I need to select to get it to run???

Looks like if you're nearly out of luck. Try Online Virus Scans.

    BitDefender Online Scan:
Free Online Virus Scan - BitDefender Online Scanner

    ESET online Scan:
    Free ESET Online Antivirus Scanner

Try both scan and let me know the results when it's done scanning.
