Multiple BSODS
Been having recurring BSODS over the last week. The major changes being that I installed a new graphics card, Ram & SSD Hard drive. I went ahead and reinstalled Windows at that point and this install is only ten days old.
Specs:
Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium
Motherboard : GA-MA77GM-US2H
Processor : AMD Phenom II 940 Processor 3414Mhz (Deneb)
Graphic Card: Radeon HD 6870 (Recently uninstalled the drivers)
Ram : Kingston DDR2 1066 Mhz 2gb x 2 (Although I have 2 more sticks I have removed)
Hard Drives : OCZ Vertex 60gb & 120 gb (I have two more drives that were connected - A Seagate barracuda 1.5TB and A Western Digital 500gb also disconnected at the moment)
Power Supply :OCZ ModExtreme 600W
Bios Version Date: 02/01/2009
If you need any additional information just asked trying to think of anything that may help debug my problem.
I do believe that I had not enough power going to the system and that may be an area where this may be an issue. However I have been unable to confirm if this is an issue but I do have one on order so that I can run the additional hard drives and Ram. Also while doing some digging I have found that there may be an incompatibility issue between my Ram and my motherboard but this came to be inconclusive. I have attempted to run a Prime95 test which just crashes my PC after approximately a minute. BSODS are random and occur when I play a game or occasionally even when I am browsing. I'm down to guessing at this point and any help would be greatly appreciated!
