    Application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration


    I recieve this error for every program that i try to open. Tryed to uninstall vc 2005 and vc 2008 same problem.


    "application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect. Please see the application event log or use the command-line sxstrace.exe tool for more detail.

    I had the same problem, some file got corrupt but cant remember what ones. i had to go for a fresh install of the app!
