    .EXE Blocked by Internet Security

Everytime I try to open any file marked .exe, I get an error saying: Your Internet security settings prevented one or more files from being opened. The file I am currently trying to open has nothing to do with the internet, actually. Its my photo gallery that came preloaded with the computer (Using the shortcut on the Dock or whatever its called). It does the same thing for a lot of files, and it seems they're all marked .exe files. Not sure what to do at this point... It's very frustrating. I've added a screenshot of an example of this error, any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks.

This looks like a fake warning
I'll advice scanning your system with Malwarebytes in safe mode with networking

If it's the case, i guess, you'll not be able to run MBAM also. To workaround this, download Rkill (link below). Run it as an admin.
You'd see a command window open and disappear. After it, try to run MBAM.
Ps: Don't reboot/log off after running Rkill.

http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/grinler/rkill.exe (in case if .exe doesn't run, try others)
    http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/grinler/rkill.scr
http://download.bleepingcomputer.com...r/iExplore.exe -> renamed version of Rkill.
