    New hardware = BSOD

So recently I purchased a new video card (Radeon HD 6870) and a power supply (corsair 500w) went to install them to find out I'm not as good with computers as I thought I was. plugged the PSU into the mobo wrong and ended up frying it.

I then purchased a new mobo and ram for the mobo, got everything installed and running, but now it constantly crashes or restarts after about an hour of playing WoW.

Once I got a glimpse of a BSOD before a restart and I've included it as a zip file.

the new mobo is an Asus m4a88td-v evo/usb3 and ram was 4gb corsair ddr3 x2.

    My system specs are

Windows 7 home premium 64bit OEM
Originally it was the vista equiv but was upgraded to 7 through a Gateway PC program, I've never reinstalled either.

Most of the hardware is a week old other than the HDD and processor which is an amd phenom 2 925 quad core, both are roughly just over a year old.

any help would be greatly appreciated :)

    Thanks
      My Computer

Please remove any CD virtualization programs such as Daemon Tools and Alcohol 120%. They use a driver, found in your dmp, sptd.sys, that is notorious for causing BSODs. Use this SPTD uninstaller when you're done:
    http://www.duplexsecure.com/en/faq
The reports that you have submitted reveal clues to the cause of your problem. They do not give a definitive answer. The more reports that we receive the more clues are made available improving our chances of finding a solution to your problem. You may have to experience several more BSODs until the final answer is discovered.

Sorry I didn't get back to this sooner, the holidays had kept me a little busy. At this point I have a feeling things are starting to get worse, I haven't gotten another blue screen, but the random restarts and freezing ups are becoming progressively more often. I even have the automatic restarts on crash disabled and it'll still happen.

I've tried using sfc/scannow but my computer ends up restarting about 50-75% through the scan, and I tried Memtest86 last night before I went to bed, to come down this morning with it being frozen at about 16mins into the first pass, no errors found, just locked up.

I'm beginning to think this is hardware related at this point, but I'm not exactly sure what part.

Also for those drivers listed above I finally found them located in sysem32 folder, but I can't seem to find away to update them, atipcie.sys seems obviously like an ati/amd driver, but I couldn't find actual drivers from amd's website, and googling resulted in a lot of sites of questionable origin, or windos 7 forum posts of bsod, heh.

Any further insight would be great, I'm starting to lean towards reinstalling windows or trying to buy a new power supply and such till it works. I'd really rather not reinstall windows though, since my 7 started out as a vista upgrade and I have a feeling it'll be more work than a straight reinstall off the hdd partition.

You may have touched on something. An upgrade is nothing but problems
You can use the upgrade DVD to reinstall as a clean install.

I'll keep that in mind, though the upgrade was done nearly a year ago now, would that honestly be the cause of all this?

Almost everyone in Seven agrees the way to go is a clean install. Do an upgrade you bring all the old problems right a long. Clean install there is a format and you start fresh.
