so safe mode is giving me troubles right now still... i talked to one of my friends and he says that it might be the video driver.... he said that there might be a conflict between the driver that handles it and that i should use the driversweeper program. I got lucky and got got the server to boot upinto safe mode enabling networking and was able to download and install the program, even managed to update it. when i try to run it i get an error tho... jeez, if its not one thing is the other...

If we think it's the video card/Driver, you can uninstall the hardware through device manager (just make sure you take the card out after you're done).

If it's having issues in safemode, that usually screams hardware... but I hate to put all eggs in 1 basket.

all i can remember doing is adding the extra hard drives (which i removed) and adding the graphics card (which was working with appropiate drivers and all) i also added an extra fan... i removed it worrying that maybe there was too much power or something for the computer to run... but it's still bluescreening...

Oh I see... I still feel as though it's video card related.

You have taken the card out and 'uninstalled' the driver/software/device from device manager?
