BSOD - My server :(

    Plug card back in, boot server in safe mode:

    Uninstall the video card through device manager (power off server)

    Take card out and plug into your onboard video again.


    Or do a restore to the night before you installed the video card.

    Plugged in card, booted up into last know configuration that worked... upon logging, bsod... restart

    held f8, booted up into safe mode with networking, put in my password, got in. Went to device manager to uninstal, upon pressing ok... bsod restart,

    pressed f8 booted up in just regular safe mode... password... bsod

    I have my wifes computer running windows 7 as well... what im gonna try now is plugging that in and see what happens

    So your wifes laptop blue screened as well? I don't see the connection there...

    What did you plug in from your wife's machine?

    Its her desktop, Sorry - I took that HDD and put it on my server, to test and see if it was the operating system. I still got a BSOD.

    yeah that wouldn't work due to the driver differences...

    I think you're going to have to repair the OS (due to the driver issue)
    for future reference, I wouldn't try to run a video card on a server os due to driver issues
