BSOD & freezes every now and then

    Hi,

I got this new laptop with Windows 7 recently and have been experiencing freezes and BSOD almost everyday. The problem is random and does not need a trigger as such, can happen anytime, normally it gives a BSOD but sometime also freezes completely and the only option after that is hard boot.

Here are the details of my Laptop:

    Processor: Intel® Core TM i5-460M, 2.53GHz
    Display: 41.6 cm LCD, 1600x900
    Graphics: NVIDIA® GeForce® 310M 512MB
    Memory: 4 GB 1066MHz DDR3-SDRAM
    Optical Drive: Blu-ray Disc(TM) writer
Hard drive: 320 GB Serial ATA (7200 rpm)
Wireless LAN: Wireless LAN + Bluetooth
Battery: Battery life up to 3 hours
    Ports: 2 USB 3.0 + 1 e-SATA/USB 2.0
    HDMI(TM) output: HDMI(TM) output
Operating system: Windows® 7 Home Premium(64bit) upgraded to Ultimate using built-in upgrade feature.

Attaching the dump files and files created by the tool 'Windows_NT6_BSOD_v3.03_jcgriff2_' from your website.

Please could you be able to check the files and let me know what could be wrong.

    Your help is appreciated.

    Thanks,
    John

The cause is NETw5s64.sys, your Intel wireless driver
Update it Intel® Driver Update Utility

    Code:
    BugCheck A, {22800000008, 2, 1, fffff800038cb365}

*** ERROR: Symbol file could not be found. Defaulted to export symbols for ndis.sys -

*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for NETw5s64.sys

    Thanks for the prompt reply.

There was infact a new driver available for the wifi... I have it installed now.

I will report back if this does not work.

    Thanks again.
