The nature of the crash is not one I have encountered before - the monitor suddenly loses its signal and resultantly goes on standby, while the tower crashes and requires a forced restart to reboot. The above, according to windows 7, is the problem's description. It has been absolutely driving me mad trying to find a solution to this problem as my knowledge is quite basic. I assumed it was a driver issue. Any help anyone can provide would be very much appreciated. My system specs are as follows: OS: Windows 7 Ultimate x64 Processor: AMD Phenom(tm) 8650 Triple-Core Processor Memory (RAM): 4.00 GB Graphics: ATI Radeon HD 4800 series (Microsoft Corporation WDDM 1.1) Gaming Graphics: 2303 MB Total available graphics memory Primary Hard Disk 298 GB Total My Graphics Card driver version is 8.741.0.0 and I have DirectX 10 As I said before, any help anyone can give me would be greatly appreciated. Many Thanks. do you have freezing problems other than gaming? have you tried running game in safe mode.. .does this help? also... what game are you having trouble with/ games?
