| | hi, thanks for the reply I updated the network drives as you said,there is one network adapter I've never seen before called Microsoft Virtual Wifi miniport adapter After the update, BSOD(Error:System___ something forgot the whole name) even in Safe Mode with Network. And a lot popped up in device manager under network adapters: Microsoft 6to4 Adapters(6 of them), Microsoft ISATAP Adapter(4), WAN Miniport(8). | | XP mode does not downloads for me, I tried from this Download Windows XP Mode but it is stuck on windows activation and will never get to the point of installing XP mode. I tried to restore to an earlier point of time where only Microsoft Virtual Wifi miniport adapter exists and tried to remove/diable it, but the thing keeps coming back after reboot. Also McAfee won't turn on for some reason. |

| | The Netio.sys issue may be related to the Cisco Vitual adapter, it ius used by VPN software, remove that software and see if you get any more BSODs Quote: Also McAfee won't turn on for some reason. |
