help me. i jus one month i have made a custom system and bam bam these freezes on 64bit.
what you suggest this is really a problem with win7 64bit or wat.?

Sometimes these freezes dunt occur sometimes jus stuck up

    The problem description ::

Random freeze, when playing games, watching movies,
the problem might occur daily or with a gap of some days.
no blue screen nothing, jus the screen is stuck at that moment i need to restart.

    ne idea about this problem.?

also i have ref this other forums these guys also have the same problem (links below)
even i reduced my ram frequency from bios but still same probs

Random freezes with windows 7 - 64 bit

Games constantly crash under Windows 7 64bit
First of all, get a real power supply
Second, make sure the processor heatsink is installed correctly
Third, get latest bios for the motherboard, and apply it.

Is your windows 7 legit or you're using an activation patch? Many users on retail intel boards have lots of issues when using a "loader"

    Hi rachit2588

I'm following the Crashes and debugging forums for practice.

In your Windows 7 - Please help with bsod thread I was nosing through your minidump files and spotted these entries, quite by chance I may add!!

    011211-22666-01.dmp

    fffff880`056e0000 fffff880`05725000 ac8wbwbc ac8wbwbc.SYS Tue Jul 14 22:12:55 2009 (4A5CF4D7)

In your other .dmp file its disappeared. BUT

    011411-21403-01.dmp

    fffff880`04452000 fffff880`04497000 akzxlazi akzxlazi.SYS Tue Jul 14 22:12:55 2009 (4A5CF4D7)

    (Note the (4A5CF4D7) entry)

You have a malware issue = random freezes.

    One reason for it happening

I had this issue and traced it to a conflict between Jave runtime and VIPRE antivirus.
Tried various versions of Java, same issue. Changed to new MS AV environment and problem went away.

I have also tried Symantec antivirus and that works ok with Jave.

VIPRE support is useless, they kept telling me to apply firewall rules even though I had disabled the firewall. This is anoying as I own a three year site licence which is now unusable :-(

Guys is been 5 days i have tested my system and i think it is working fine...so the solution found to this problem was to increase the voltage on dram from 1.5 to 1.6v...also nvidia graphics drivers updated to 266.58
