hi guys,

Random BSOD especially during system resume. I have another unit of HP (same model as below) who crashed so much and HP think it is a software issue. Crash reports are attached.


Is Windows 7 . . .
- x86 (32-bit)
- the original installed OS on the system? Yes
- an OEM
- OEM = XP was the original software but HP provided the option to install Win 7 Pro 32bit
- What is the age of system (hardware)? 4 months
- What is the age of OS installation (4 months

Strangely, the last recorded BSOD was in November.

I'm seeing some strange errors:

The only thing I can suspect is Trend Micro. Try removing it, and replace it with MSE: http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials

Your Realtek network drivers are old, dated from January 2010. Install these ones: Realtek

Also, update your Atheros wireless drivers: HP ProBook 4420s Notebook PC*-* Atheros Wireless LAN Driver - HP Business Support Center

Run driver verifier: Driver Verifier - Enable and Disable
